While making a box of Hamburger Helper, Arthur's girlfriend playfully kept reminding him about unfinished chores. Instead of letting the moment pass, he reached for a pen and turned an ordinary conversation into a song. The idea stayed with him for decades — and when it came time to introduce himself as an artist, he knew exactly which song deserved to be first.
